Co-curricular Drama
Drama Clubs
Our Drama Clubs are made up of passionate students who engage collaboratively to produce and perform theatre that is meaningful for them and entertaining for audiences. These student-led groups are committed to telling and creating stories that are important to young people.
- College-wide Musical held at Woodville Town Hall (bi-annual)
- Archangel Theatre Company
- Junior Drama Club
Jr Drama Club
- Open to students in Years 7-8
- Club members can choose from performing onstage or backstage roles including technical theatre, set, prop and costume design
- Rehearsal on Tuesday & Thursday at lunchtime
- Occasional afterschool rehearsals are required in the lead-up to a performance
- Performances are held in the evenings for family and friends
- In a non-Musical year club runs all year with a performance at the end of each semester
- In a Musical Year, club runs in Semester 2 only, with an end of year performance
Archangel Theatre Co.
- Open to students in Years 9-12
- In Archangel Theatre Co. members can choose from performing onstage, playwrighting, or backstage roles including technical theatre, set, prop and costume design
- Rehearsal on Wednesdays after school (3:30-5:00pm)
- Some weekend and additional afterschool rehearsals may be required in the lead-up to performances
- Performances are held in the evenings for family and friends, either in the Drama Studio or offsite at a community theatre
- In a Musical year, the company runs in Semester 2 only
