The Primary Campus, located in Beverley, is the learning environment for students in Reception to Year 6. The Primary Campus will be moving from single-sex (boys) to co-education and this journey commenced in January 2021. Girls have been introduced into the 2021 Reception classes and by 2027 St Michael’s College will be a fully co-educational school from R to 12.
The Primary Campus has recently undertaken some exciting initiatives, including:
- Stage 1 of the new building program, including a contemporary state of the art Early Primary Centre with Nature Playground access from classrooms, an Innovation Centre incorporating a STEM space, Maker Space and Library facilities. Stage 2 of the building program is currently in the pipeline.
- Nature Play areas have been established and provides students with rich play and outdoor learning facilities which complement existing well-established Kitchen Garden and Wetlands program.
- The College offers Term 3 mid-year intake for students who have attained the age of five on or before 31 October in that year. For more information on how student learning will be enhanced, please click here.
