Celebrating the Success of our VET Students!
Congratulations to all our wonderful VET (Vocational Education and Training) students who have successfully completed—or are on their way to completing—a formal VET qualification or School-Based Apprenticeship this year! Your hard work, commitment, enthusiasm are truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder of your achievements.
This year has been a milestone for our College, with 160 senior school students undertaking formal VET qualifications. These qualifications have provided students with invaluable opportunities to gain hands-on experience, theoretical knowledge and industry-recognised skills, paving the way for their future success.
From trade-based to creative and health service-related qualifications, our students have participated in a diverse range of courses. Students have juggled their academic studies with often with work experience, part time jobs and sports commitments, demonstrating incredible dedication and resilience.
A special acknowledgment goes to our School-Based Apprenticeship students, who have combined their school commitments with on-the-job training.
This Semester we have had a number of students recognised by Western Technical College for the outstanding employability skills they have demonstrated within their VET Programs. These students have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence.
