Stage 1 Digital Film Production – A Filmmakers Masterclass

Lights, Camera, Action!

Earlier this term, Stage 1 Digital Film Production students were involved in a Filmmakers Masterclass with Old Scholar Riley Duncan (Class of 2021). Riley established his own Filmmaking Business – ‘Mittyesque Videography and Photography’ in 2022 and is currently Head of Production at Ecom Brands.

Students worked through the three main filmmaking components of any production – Planning, Producing and Editing – and together created a short script for an ‘Office style’ documentary that they then filmed on the day. Furthermore, students were also taught valuable camera and editing techniques that would aid them in creating cinematic and professional productions.
