Clean Up Australia Day

The Year 5 students have been learning about sustainability, pollution and how to care for our earth. As a part of this focus, they participated in ‘Clean up Australia Day’ on the 3 March by picking up rubbish along the linear park trail at Flinders Park. On 10 March they went to the KESAB Education Centre at the Wingfield Tip where they learnt all about what happens to our waste once the garbage trucks collect it as well as how to be excellent waste managers at home and at school. The boys are now working on littering awareness vlogs to help reduce littering at school.
