RECEPTION OLYMPICS
The Reception students have loved watching and learning about the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, so we decided to host our own Reception Olympics at St Michael’s Primary Campus. Reception students and staff flew to Tokyo where Mr Patton officially opened the games! We competed in equestrian, weight lifting, hurdles, gymnastics, shot put and javelin and all won a beautifully designed medal! NAIDOC WEEK PROJECT AT THE BRICKWORKS
Congratulations to Year 6 students Jake Lalic and Zac Mullins for their winning artwork which will be featured in the ‘Drawing Us Together’ community book initiative in honour of NAIDOC Week 2021. The students artwork were done both digitally and with water colour paints.
An Aboriginal smoking ceremony and the awards were held at the Brickworks gum tree site next to the Torrens River. It was a small ceremony done by the Kuma Kaaru which was arranged by the Brickworks Marketplace and Charter Hall.
PRIMARY SCHOOL PHOTO DAY – FRIDAY 10 SEPTEMBER
Photographs will be taken of the following groups: Co-curricular, Mid-Year Intake, New starters T3, Year 6 Graduation, catch up of individual students and sibling photos. All photos can be purchased by following the instructions below.

School photography information:
- Online orders – orders can be placed up to the day before.
- Sibling Photos – Don’t forget to pre-order your sibling photos online up to 24 hours before photo day. We provide your school with a list of sibling orders right up to the day of photography, so no one misses out. Sibling photographs only apply to children enrolled at your school.
- Late fees – a late fee will be applied to each package purchased after photo day due to the additional cost of producing these packages separately
- Package delivery – photographic packages will be returned to your school for distribution approximately six weeks after photos are taken
- Previous Years’ photos – Past years’ photographs including sports, co-curricular and representative groups are also available to order under the “previous years or group photo” tabs at your school’s advancedorder site when you click on the “Order School Photos Here” button above. You can also order past packages, portrait images and gifts from your child’s unique, individual and secure advancedyou image archive site using the unique 9 digit image code found on packages you have ordered in the past
