HR Advisor

The purpose of this role is to provide human resources advice to College Leadership. The role coordinates all aspects of human resources at the College and has the expertise of a HR generalist with a sound understanding of employment legislation, combined with general business skills.

The role will focus on the building of positive relationships as a core element and assist the College to employ and develop staff. The role reports to the Human Resource, Safety, Risk and Compliance Manager, however, supports the Principal and College Leadership Team.

This is a new role and the Position Information Description (PID) may be reviewed and reconfigured if needed as the role evolves. Applications close 9:00 am on 14th October, 2022. Candidates may be contacted prior to closing date.

Lead Student Counsellor

The Lead Student Counsellor is the manager of five Counsellors, two at the Primary Campus and three at the Secondary Campus. The role also delivers personal counselling at the Secondary Campus and spans work with students from Years 7 to Year 12. The role leads teams at both sites, reports on regular and key data trends and makes recommendations for initiatives and strategies in the College’s Pastoral Care Programs.

The Student Counselling Services are central to the educational vision of St Michael’s College and involve a team of professionals who provide personal, academic and career counselling services to the students of the College. They work in partnership with students, staff, parents, and outside providers.

The Counselling position entails the delivery of Personal Counselling at the Secondary Campus and spans work with students from Years 7 to Year 12. Student Counsellor PID

Maintenance Assistant

The Maintenance Assistant role is to maintain the College grounds, with a particular emphasis on effectively controlling litter and ensure the grounds are maintained to the highest standards. This position also provides support to the Maintenance Team under direction from the Manager and will be required to do other duties as directed.
