End of year wrap up

As the season of girls’ summer sport has come to an end, I would like to congratulate all our Term 4 teams on some fantastic results.

In particular, the Middle A Basketball, Middle B and C Touch Football and Middle C2 (Year 7 team 1) Volleyball on finishing top of the Premiership ladder.

We also had all of our Volleyball teams finishing with second and third placings this year which is a wonderful improvement from Term 1.

Great job to all our players and a big ‘thank you’ to our coaches, for their time and effort, and parents for their support.

Co-curricular Touch Football 2022

On Saturday November 26 the Final Round of Catholic Secondary School Girls Sport Competition for Touch Football 2022 was held.

A huge congratulations to the Middle B Touch Football team who have been undefeated through the Term 1 and 4 seasons becoming the 2022 Middle B Touch Football Premiers. Our last game finished with an 8-0 win to Cabra, and each player displayed their excellence on the field. The girls should be very proud of themselves and how far they have come. I look forward to testing our abilities in the Middle A competition in 2023.

In Term 4, we introduced a new Year 7 Touch Football team, and this was their first-time playing Touch Football. The Middle C team were very successful finishing as Premiers undefeated. These girls should be very proud of how far they have developed since their first training. Congratulations.

And a final congratulations to our Senior Touch Football Team who finished 2^nd on the Premiership table. We farewell our Year 12’s who have played since their first years at St Michael’s College. We thank you and wish you all the best.

A big thank you to the parents/caregivers for your endless support throughout the year.
