MOTOR TRADES ASSOCIATION EXCURSION
A group of Year 10 students have participated in an excursion to the Motor Trades Association (MTA).
During this excursion, students heard all about the different career pathways within the automotive industry and learnt about some of the traps and pitfalls to look out for when buying their first car. They even joined in an activity to change car tyres.
The day’s highlight was the pitstop competition and being placed on the leader board for the high school competition.
Thanks to Andy from the MTA for making this an enjoyable and informative excursion.
FIRST AID QUALIFICATION
Joining together with students from Immanuel College, Henley High and Sacred Heart College, St Michael’s students undertook their First Aid qualification as part of their Certificate III in Public Safety.
Congratulations to these students for all the volunteer work they perform over the summer to keep us safe on our beaches.
Please come and visit the VET Office if you would like to find out more about this course.
